Drat and double drat
Didn't get into the Tepper program, just got the decision email. The Smith interview didn't go too well in my opinion, so I am striking that one out as well. I was so looking forward to doing the school thing, now I have to go work!!! I am so tired of working, i wish I could just afford to take a year off and do nothing.

So sorry...what kind of course were you hoping to study? Maybe you could take some time off...know anyone in another state or country you can live with?
MBA, I will still be relocating though, just would have preffered to be in school, you know you can get away with anything once you are a student!
So sorry to hear about this. I know you were really looking forward to it. Maybe you can do the executive MBA. A friend of mine is doing it also at Tepper. He's really enjoying it though he has a very full plate.
Of course, you can just take your time to look for a job (maybe something crazy and fun), travel a lot and re-apply for next year. I've always said that if I ever decided to take a break from 'serious' work, I would go to beauty school and learn how to cut and color hair, and do more natural hair styles.
So sorry to hear about this. It's been said that application numbers went way up this year. Many schools had to drop a lot of well qualified applicants. Let’s stay positive about Smith.
Don't give up on Smith just yet. Send positive vibes. Are you an american citizen? If not how do you plan to work? (Just curious cos I left cos of the work situation) You can both work and study like the guy above said....
